Harness the power of nature.

The value of experience

Since 1918, OREMOTOR has been dedicated to the manufacture and repair of electric motors. For 100 years, OREMOTOR has acquired extensive experience that allows it, today, to master the repair of wind generators.

1918: Jesús Romero, an electrical engineer, creates Oremotor to design and coil the first electric motors.

1920: Oremotor manufactures the motors for the emblematic funicular of Monte Igueldo in San Sebastián.

1960: Development of the first electrical current electric motors associated with variable speed drives.

1990: Faced with the concentration of the electric motor manufacturing market, OREMOTOR, as an independent family business, focused on the repair and winding of AC and DC industrial motors.

To adapt to its business development, OREMOTOR moved its activity to its current facilities in the town of Hernani (Guipúzcoa).

1997: Oremotor starts repairing the first wind generators.

1997-2018: Just as it did for industrial motors, OREMOTOR has progressively incorporated wind generator technology into its processes. During the last twenty years, this activity has grown thanks to the need for massive repair of wind generators.

THE INTERNAL ORGANIZATION

Since 2016, the company has set up a methods department whose objective is to technically structure all operations in order to guarantee the repetitiveness of the processes and the quality of the work carried out.

The experience and technical qualification of the people, together with a methodical service, constitute the strengths of Oremotor.
